Because
Pashta works primary with small non-profit organizations
or families dealing with 'end of life' issues,
she has chosen to keep her fees lower than the
'going rate'.However
again
please be advised that she does not deal with
cases referred to mediation by the law courts. Most
of the organizations or individual mediators
listed on the right-hand menu under "Other
Mediation Resources"
are able to handle such cases.

Mediation
Fees
Pre-mediation
sessions
$30 per party
generally lasting 45-60 minutes.
Individual
mediation sessions are 1½ to 2 hours.This
time period is usually adequate to resolving fairly
simple issues: more complex ones are likely to
take at least a second session.Arrangements
should be made for the parties to share the costs
appropriately, once they have both agreed to mediation.Mediation
session hourly rates are $65.

Location
Because
of Pashta's lower rates, she is not able to provide
a space for the mediation.This
will need to be the responsibility of the parties,
including any rental fees.

Agreement
to mediate
Agreement
form must be filled out by both parties individually,
once they are prepared to move forward with mediation:
they are usually signed at the beginning of the
first joint mediation session.The
actual forms are available in pdf form upon request
either sent via email or regular mail to the parties.
